Bad Dog Treats?

Do you feed your pet name-brand dog treats? Most people buy dog treats without looking into the ingredients. Just because your dog is an animal does not mean they should be fed toxic, unhealthy treats. Even a well known brand, such as Milk-bone, has been proven to be especially bad for dogs. BHA, BHT, Ethoxyquin, Sodium Metabisulfite and TBHQ are just some of the toxins that are found in these common dog treats found at many local, chain stores. These toxins are known to cause cancer, liver, and kidney problems. In fact, Ethoxyquin is so toxic that the FDA has prohibited it from human consumption. Always be careful before feeding your dogs these treats! Check out http://www.animalhealthfoundation.net for other information concerning the welfare of dogs.
